Square Enix celebrates 9th anniversary with commemorative edition
Square Enix announced today that Final Fantasy XI Ultimate Collection Abyssea Edition, a complete package of all Final Fantasy XI content released to date, is now available vie Steam, Nexway and Metaboli. The special launch commemorates the 9th anniversary of Final Fantasy XI, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) with a large population of players spread across Europe, North America, and Japan. Ultimate Collection Abyssea Edition includes all four expansions, from the forerunner Rise of the Zilart to the recently concluded Wings of the Goddess. It also includes all add-on scenarios, namely A Crystalline Prophecy - Ode of Life Bestowing, A Moogle Kupo d'Etat - Evil in Small Doses, and A Shantotto Ascension - The Legend Torn, Her Empire Born. Also included are the add-on battle areas Vision of Abyssea, Scars of Abyssea, and Heroes of Abyssea
